The MCSCD collects water samples and sends them off for analysis.
Water testing can greatly benefit a producer; it can help prevent disease, ensure proper nutrition, and maintain productivity. Bad water or issues with a water supply can limit livestock productivity and profitability, cause illness or mortalities, or lead to nutritional deficiencies.
There are a wide array of water tests available, so it is cost-dependent, along with the cost of postage. An invoice will be sent out after the testing is done and results have come in.
You can come in and get a bottle that we have on hand that we've gotten from the lab, or you could just grab a clean, empty bottle (we usually recommend a gatorade bottle, or something of the like), fill it, put duct tape around the lid once you've closed it, and bring it in to us to send off!
