The MCSCD offers a tree enhancement program. If you had us machine plant, starting within that same year we can remove dead trees in the fall and order replacements. In the spring, we will hand plant those that were removed. *Weed barrier MUST be applied to qualify for the Tree Enhancement Program*. There is a $150 minimum charge for fall pulling.
This is a great program that has been put into place to help out those with larger plantings and limited time, those who may not be able to handle the planting care physically, or those who just plain need help taking care of their trees.
T.E.P. goes hand in hand with our machine planting program, we are happy to come out and help take care of the dead trees and replant new ones in the spring.
Costs for TEP will vary as well, depending on the year in the program and how long it takes for our crew. Fall TEP: $150/hr to go out and pull dead trees/take counts. Spring: Year 1 is $8/tree planted, Year 2 is $9/tree planted, Year 3 is $10/tree planted. There will be a $150 minimum charge as well.
