Our soil conservation has a land roller that is available to rent.
Land rollers can help prevent equipment breakdowns and wear, by smoothing out the land. Used typically on land that has a pea or lentil crop, or hay ground.
Instead of breaking up the soil to smooth it out, you can maintain the soil structure and water holding capacity when using a roller.
This roller is 21 feet wide, and folds in for easy hauling. We charge $7/ac for one pass, $9/ac for two passes, and $11/ac for three passes.
